Leader Project

The LEADER Project (Latium Enterprises for Audiovisual Development of Eastern Reality) is supported by Lazio Region and Sviluppo Lazio with the public funding of the Regional Law 5/2008. Its aim is to promote and facilitate the process of internationalization of SMEs operating in Latium audiovisual and cross-media sector through the creation of a collaborative network in the production and distribution of audiovisual contents among stakeholders and experts in Eastern Europe, with a special focus on Romania, Hungary and the Russian Federation.

We chose to focus the Project on the Eastern European market since it has a greater potential for italian export as compared to Western European countries. This forecast comes from the results of a 2009 survey developed by Blei Worldwide Advertising – the official foreign markets advertising company for RCS Media Group – on the Middle East & North Africa Media markets. Data from such survey show that Eastern Europe is a very young market and as such is open to the innovative audiovisual and cross media sectors.

Within the framework of the LEADER the companies involved in the Project aim to show what state of the art innovative audiovisual sector can offer to the market, each of them focusing on their own expertise:

• Unicity Spa: is specialized in the production and distribution of innovative software for multimedia editing and production;
• Ni-Nap Srl: has a specific expertise in the production and postproduction of audiovisual contents;
• Blueray Srl: focuses on the production of audiovisual contents;
• i Piloti Srl: is specialized in the creation and editing of audio tracks for both multimedia and TV productions.
